Wayne "Silk" F. Wilks

Wilks, Wayne F. "Silk" Bay City, Michigan Mr. Wilks passed away Sunday, January 6, 2013 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 72 years. The son of the late Frank and Grace (Trevarthan) Wilczynski was born April 8, 1939 in Forest City, PA . He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, retired from Schiller, Inc. as the CFO, was an avid bowler and served with the United States Marines. He is survived by one daughter; Lisa Wilks Dobbins, one son; David W. Wilks and his fiancée Ginger Ayres, one grandson; Brett Dobbins all of Bay City, one sister and brother-in-law; Jayne and Michael Nazak of Round Rock, TX, one brother and sister-in-law; Phillip and Mary Ann Wilks of Endicott, NY and many nieces and nephews. On November 24, 1960 he married the former Rosanne M. Kotar and she preceded him in death on October 29, 2003. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday, January 10, 2013 to receive visitors from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. At the request of Mr. Wilks Cremation will take place. Members of the Bay County Veterans Council will conduct Military Honors Friday January 11, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the graveside at Calvary Cemetery in Kawkawlin. Memorial cards for Bay County Veterans Council or the Salvation Army will be available at the funeral home.
