William "Bill" M. List

Mr. List passed away on Monday, September 30, 2019 at Covenant HealthCare - Cooper. Age 74 years. The son of the late Erwin "Bud" and Doris (Martens) List was born May 28, 1945 in Bay City, Michigan. Mr. List was a member of St. Paul Lutheran of Frankenlust and served in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed woodworking, scroll sawing, baseball, reading, weather and attending his grandchildren's musical and sporting events.

Mr. List is survived by his wife, the former Bonnie Hoerauf, whom he married on April 4, 1970; four children, Christopher (Julie) List, Matthew (Allison) List, Kevin (Julie) List and Tiffany List; seven grandchildren, Sylvia, Virginia, Jacob, Natalie, Isaac, Brady and Susannah; two brothers, James (Joyce) List, Robert (Meredith) List; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Gerald (Janet) Hoerauf, Thomas (Nancy) Hoerauf and Carol (Frank) Wozniak and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and nurses at Covenant HealthCare Cooper CVICU for their compassion and care.

Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Frankenlust. Officiating will be Pastor Dennis W. Matyas with Committal following at St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial cards for St. Paul Lutheran Church Ministry Center or the American Diabetes Association will be available at the funeral home.
