William Charles Biskner

William passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at Huron Woods Nursing Center in Kawkawlin, Michigan at the age of 85. He was born to the late Joseph and Angeline (Rytlewski) Biskner on March 29, 1939 in Bay City, Michigan. He was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish and was involved with the Men’s Usher Club. He retired from Bay County after 32 years of service. William married Marlene (Harris) Anquetil-Biskner on June 24, 2000 and he has been part of the family for 24 years, they have been so blessed to have him in their lives. He was so kind, sweet, loving, had a big heart, loved his wife unconditionally and was so welcoming of his new family.

William is survived by his wife Marlene (Harris) Anquetil-Biskner; inherited children, Lynann (Nick) Castellano, Albert (Marilyn) Anquetil, Janet Anquetil, Rob (Shelli) Anquetil; sister-in-law’s, Rita Biskner, Diane Biskner and Sharon Harris; brother-in-law’s, Kieth (Judy) Harris and Randy (Peggy) Harris; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews and most beloved fur babies, Kandi and pearl In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, George “Jerb” (Kay) Biskner, Larry Biskner, Richard (Marlene) Biskner and Thomas Biskner and brother-in-law, Gary Harris.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff at Huron Woods Nursing Center for the Care and kindness they had shown to William while he was in their care. They would also like to say thank you to the staff with Heartland Hospice for everything they did for William’s family throughout this difficult time in their lives.

Funeral service for William will take place on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home with a private interment taking place at a later date at St. Patrick’s Cemetery. The family will be present to receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made in William’s name to the Activity Center at Huron Woods Nursing Center.
