Bill passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021 at Brian's House with his family at his side, at the age of 82. The son of the late Edward and Margaret (Cavanaugh) Clements was born April 18, 1939 in Bay City, Michigan. Bill retired from the I.B.E.W. #692 as an electrician. He enjoyed life, always liked to have fun and play pranks on family and friends, he was an avid woodworker, enjoyed fishing in Florida, boating, attending his grandchildren's sporting events and loved riding his motorcycle which he did up until a year ago. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife the former, Joan LeVasseur whom he married January 16, 1965; two sons, Todd (Christina) Clements and Kyle (Elisabeth) Clements; his grandchildren, Mikayla, Hayden, Andrew (Alyssa) and Sophia; his great-granddaughter, Emma; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parent's he was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert and Paul Clements; his sisters, Joyce Carrier and Joanne Ferguson.
The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, September 24, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at All Saints Parish-St. James Church. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Jose Cabrera followed by Military Honors conducted by the U.S. Navy and the Bay County Veterans Council with cremation following. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday to receive family and friends from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Bill will be taken to church on Friday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
