William Johnson

William Johnson, born on November 15, 1957, in Midland, Michigan, passed away peacefully at his home on September 25, 2025, with his family by his side. He is remembered as a Jack of all Trades, a remarkable individual capable of fixing anything that came his way.

Throughout his life, William embraced a variety of hobbies and interests that showcased his vibrant personality. He was a devoted fan of the Detroit Tigers and enjoyed watching wrestling. William found joy in attending cookouts and sharing good times at the casino with his dear friend, Ricky Murphy. However, above all else, he cherished the moments spent with his beloved family.

William's legacy continues through his children, Torrey Johnson, Marjorie, Billy, and Helen; his brothers, Edward Johnson, Dennis Johnson, Dale Johnson, and Ronald Johnson; and his sisters, Aldora Johnson and Pamela Johnson. He also leaves behind his fiancée, Shirley Nickelberry, as well as many nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Lester and Helen Johnson; his wife, Cindy Johnson; and three brothers, Kenneth Johnson, Howard Johnson, and Donald Johnson.

A Celebration of Life for William will take place on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Gephart Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in lieu of flowers, contributions may be considered to wishes of the family.
