Mr. Kram passed away on Monday, October 14, 2019 at his residence. Age 81 years. The son of the late Joseph and Mary (Adamowski) Kram was born February 2, 1938 in Bay City, Michigan. Mr. Kram retired from GM Powertrain after 31 years of service, upon retirement he went to work for the Bradley House for 12 years. He loved to farm and raise animals, remodel houses, woodworking, hunting at his cottage, hosting weekly card parties and was a big part of the Kram family reunions.
Mr. Kram is survived by two sons, Greg Kram and Kevin (Sharon) Kram; two grandchildren, Kristopher and Kyle Kram; step daughter, Wendy (Keith) Yaworski; four sisters, Irene Gwizdala, Vi Kowalski, Kay Richards, Marge (Brad) Schindehette; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Noah Duval, Lou (Gerald) Wenglikowski, Loretta Periard and Midge Kram and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Ron and Kathy Haas and longtime friend, Archie Laney. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Jane Kram; daughter, Shelly Golembiewski; brothers and sisters, Wilfred (Elaine) Kram, Pauline (Ed) Donakowski, Helen (Chuck) Heffner, Evelyn (Bill) Jacobs, John Kram, Joseph Gwizdala, Ina (Norb) Wozniak, Don Richards and Jim Kowalski; brothers and sisters-in-law, Shirley (Jack) Carrier, Linda Duval, Iona Duval and Virgil Geno.
Funeral and Committal services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 18, 2019 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Robert J. Kelm. Private inurnment will take place at a later date at St. Patrick Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home on Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial cards for the Good Samaritan Rescue Mission will be available at the funeral home.
