William T. Peters

William passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 77 years. William was born in Bay City on June 16, 1943 to the late Loyal and Mary Eileen (Cody) Peters. He was a member of Visitation Catholic Church and later Our Lady of Peace Parish. William enjoyed trivia games, playing cards, Detroit Lions football, Elvis Presley and collecting horse statues. In his early years he enjoyed bowling and won many trophies. William was a member and on the board of the National Association of Physically Handicapped.
William is survived by his nephews, Danny Weber and Lauren (Debra) Weber; niece, Valerie (Bill) Daly; significant other, Jill Torres and many friends and caregivers. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Jean Weber and brother, Daniel Peters.
At the request of William, cremation has taken place; a memorial service will take place at a later date with inurnment in Calvary Cemetery.
