William J. Sargeson Sr.

William passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Symphony of Tri Cities at the age of 95 years. He was born in Saginaw, Michigan on August 20, 1927 to the late William and Sylvia (Blackburn) Sargeson. William proudly served his country in the United States Army and worked and retired from General Motors after 37 years of service. On February 28, 1948 he married the former Shirley Wazny and she preceded him in death on March 18, 2019 after 71 years of marriage. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, building houses and tinkering in his garage.
William is survived by his son, Randy L. (Sue) Sargeson; grandchildren, Thomas, Jeffrey, Julie and Stacey (Eric) Rohrer; sister-in-law, Cathy Wazny and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by his son, William J. Sargeson Jr.; sisters, Kay (Frank) Sovia and Alice Sargeson.
