William R. Snyder

William R. Snyder, born on July 20, 1943, in Baltimore, Maryland, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2025, at Toni And Trish House. He lived a life filled with dedication and passion, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him.

William was a proud veteran, having served honorably in the United States Navy. Following his military service, he built a successful career as a boiler maker at Bethlehem Steel. Throughout his professional life, William was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.

Outside of his career, William found joy in various hobbies and interests. He was an avid pool player, often spending hours honing his skills and enjoying friendly competition. He also loved watching television, finding entertainment in a wide array of shows and movies. Above all, William cherished the time spent with his family, creating lasting memories that will be treasured by his loved ones.

He is survived by his daughter, Diana (Ronnie) Osterhout; son, William Snyder; grandchildren, Keith, Kris, Samantha, Faith, and Chloe; great grandson, Logan; ex-wife, Shelia; brother, Henry Snyder; special friends, Elaine and Bob Rey; and many nieces and nephews. Each of these individuals played a significant role in his life, and their bonds will continue to celebrate his memory.

William was preceded in death by his parents, William A. Snyder and Ruthann (Thompson) Snyder, and his sister, Norma. Their absence is felt deeply by all who remain.

Friends and family are invited to join in a Celebration of Life to honor William on June 9, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gephart Funeral Home, located at 201 W Midland St, Bay City, MI 48706. This gathering will serve as a reflection of the love and legacy William R. Snyder leaves behind, a testament to a life well-lived and fondly remembered.
