William (Bill) Patrick Younkman, 52, passed away at his home in Bay City, MI, on August 19th, 2025. He was born in Marshall, MI, on August 29th, 1972, to Eileen Elizabeth Stout and Timothy J. Younkman.
He was preceded in death by both his mother and father. He is survived by his brother, Lee Younkman; sisters, Laicy Lansdale, Cathy Younkman, and Sarah Younkman; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and a great-nephew. He is also survived by his two godchildren, Blade and Emmarie.
As a long-time resident of Bay City, William was deeply interested in the area's history and loved the community. William also enjoyed traveling. In his early childhood, he spent a few years living in West Texas. As an adult, he briefly resided in Florida, but each time, he returned to his roots in Michigan. William was passionate about music, especially rock and heavy metal, and played guitar in his youth. He loved cooking and had a knack for making a great steak. He also enjoyed watching football and rooting for the Detroit Lions and the Michigan State Spartans. William cherished time with friends and family, especially his two godchildren.
Preparations are underway to celebrate his life with a private memorial service in Marshall, MI. There, William will be laid to rest next to his beloved mother and his cherished dog, Sammy, who also preceded him in death.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Robin Rogue, his lifelong friend, and her husband, Kirk Sharon, for all their support and assistance.
