Wilma Jean "Billie" Beson

Billie passed away Wednesday evening, September 25, 2013 at her residence at the age of 67 years. The daughter of the late Ruben and Delores Slee was born February 23, 1946 in Bay City, MI. Billie enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, also loved her dog, animals, enjoyed dancing, being outdoors, she was a very gentle and classy person. Left to cherish her memory are her husband; Lew Beson whom she married August 9, 1997, her children; Jody and Robert Lucas, James Rugenstein and Jennifer Beson, two loving grandchildren; Josie and Raini Lucas, two loving great grandchildren; Sonny and Aebel, two brothers and one sister-in-law; Thomas Dietz, Theodore and Joann Dietz, one sister and brother-in-law; Anna May and Walt Curtis, her mother-in-law; Ann Beson, many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her brothers and sisters; Bob, Jamie, Bertha, Kay and Theresa. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Sister Joanne Toohey with cremation following. The family will be present at the funeral home to receive visitors from 2:00 p.m. and until the time of services.
